Biography

Bruskotter Financial Services, Inc. has been a local family owned and operated business since we were established in 1982 by Dennis Bruskotter.  The operation began part-time in Dennis’ home while he was a science teacher at the Defiance City Schools.  In 1993 Dennis purchased a local bank building on Main Street in Kalida, and became a full time financial advisor.  

 

Dennis’ wife Shirley began in 1997 to help run the businesses payroll and other accounting practices.  She diligently ensures that each client receives a phone call for an account review annually.

 

In 2001, Barbara Unverferth joined the team.  Barb takes care of the account management and process follow up.  She ensures that our systems are always up to date and in check.  

 

In 2011, Kyle Bruskotter began the second generation of Bruskotter Financial Services, Inc. by starting out part-time shadowing Dennis to begin a foundation of business knowledge.  In 2015 he became a full time Registered Assistant.  In 2016 Kyle took over the role of President / Investment Advisor Representative from Dennis.
